(No lesson on May 5 - that will be our "CINCO DE MAYO" celebration.)

For our NEXT FIELD TRIP on FRIDAY, APRIL 23 we have decided to go to Vaughn Road Park (Free). Ian's mom, Mrs. Andrea McDade has agreed to drive us and stop by Saint James UMC to visit MR. JOHN and bring him a snack for all of us to share! Your child has decided what snack he or she wants to make or buy for all of us to share about 10:30 when we arrive at SAINT JAMES UMC. Please make sure they bring the snack and a packed lunch with two drinks to enjoy at the park after we leave Mr. John.

We are blessed to have so many FREE places to visit,

They will answer the questions about their book ( Name of Book, Author, Main Characters, Your favorite part, What happened at the FIRST, MIDDLE AND END of the book ) and send back when finished (Whatever day that may be). When these are returned they can go to the TREASURER BOX! If they have their own book at home and will write down the answers stated above and send back with the sheet of facts, they can GO TO THE TREASURER BOX, also!

PARENTS, IF YOU HAVE ANY TOY ITEMS (your child is not using) PLEASE BRING THESE TO SCHOOL FOR OUR TREASURE BOX. Thanks to those parents who have brought items in already!
