SPECIAL NOTE

Dear Parents,

PLease have your 6 EASTER TREATS to school by Wednesday, March 31. Also, please have your BISCUITS game t-shirt ($8.50) and ball game fee ($12.00) to school by this THURSDAY, APRIL 1.

REMEMBER APRIL 2 is a holiday, GOOD FRIDAY! NO SCHOOL THIS FRIDAY.

Starting this THURSDAY, Ms. Carrigan will sale dough nuts to raise money for the AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY. THE DOUGH NUTS will be .75. If your child wants to buy one, please have them bring the money that day. (She will sale these each Friday until April 23.)

Please remember our number at THREE RIVERS ACADEMY is 517-1158. Report Cards will go home MONDAY! We had problems with our printer, sorry!

The LEGACY CALENDAR CONTEST homework art work is due April 9. The school must select the best ones to mail into the Legacy address. Please have your child complete a "RECYCLE THEME" on the cardstock paper I sent home before SPRING BREAK.
Please work with your child on this. For the 2007 Calendar, William Osburn won $25.00 for his art work about caring for our land. He was in Kindergarten then!

DO NOT WEAR THE YELLOW ACE SHIRT on Wednesdays ANYMORE until APRIL!

The next ACE AEROSPACE Lesson (# 1) will be Wednesday, APRIL 7, 2010. Wear the YELLOW ACE T-SHIRT and jeans ON THAT WEDNESDAY! We will have a whole week April 12 - 16 for AEROSPACE EDUCATION (Lessons #2 - #6)and then #7 - #9 the following Wednesdays. We will end our ACE Lessons on May 12. (No lesson on May 5 - that will be our "CINCO DE MAYO" celebration.)

For our NEXT FIELD TRIP on FRIDAY, APRIL 23 we have decided to go to Vaughn Road Park (Free). Ian's mom, Mrs. Andrea McDade has agreed to drive us and stop by Saint James UMC to visit MR. JOHN and bring him a snack for all of us to share! Your child has decided what snack he or she wants to make or buy for all of us to share about 10:30 when we arrive at SAINT JAMES UMC. Please make sure they bring the snack and a packed lunch with two drinks to enjoy at the park after we leave Mr. John.

We are blessed to have so many FREE places to visit,

Mrs. Mary Gurley
